I will tell you a short story, in the video, before we get into today’s music by Phil Lehenbauer. This “Processional in G major” is a great piece as a processional (as titled!) or postlude at any church service. It’s accessible and able to be registered on even the most modest of instruments. I’m blessed to be able to have many Hauptwerk sample sets at my disposal, so here we will hear it on the Oberlinger Bonn-Beuel organ (sampled by Pipeloops) — alternating between the chamades and the full Great chorus.
