We often joke that we’re going to perform every known setting of “Ave verum”, so here’s another one for the list. David and Tony Lee sing this in duet with yours truly providing the accompaniment. You’ll notice extensive use of the Hautbois (Oboe), under expression, which is just about as French romantic as you can get!
