Benedictus – Chromhorne en taille (Messe pour les Paroisses) | Hauptwerk Billerbeck

I thought it’s about time I explore some French baroque music again. Nothing bombastic on this occasion, I’m afraid! This Chromhorne en taille is expressively rendered on Sonus Paradisi’s Billerbeck Dom organ. An eclectic instrument capable of a wide variety of organ repertoire. Couperin’s organ music is something I haven’t given much precedence to as I’ve usually been preoccupied with Clerambeault, Dumage and Guilain. However, after playing this beautiful Benedictus movement I’m sure to play more from this Mass.
