I’ve always loved “Carol of the Bells” and it just so happens that Jeff Perks has written an excellent arrangement of it for organ solo. I experimented with a few sample sets before settling on the Hereford Cathedral set (Lavender Audio)…mainly because it has the chimes that are so needed in this piece. Of course, on an organ without chimes you can experiment with some sparkly mutations—it’ll still work! It’s time to start digging out the Christmas music because it’s not far away.
