Charles Villiers Stanford – Psalm 150 | Swell Vox

Charles Villiers Stanford’s setting of Psalm 150 is a classic amongst all the Anglican Chant settings. Anglican chant is not something we do regularly (Gregorian chant is what we’re more familiar with), but I’m very fascinated by the differences and the style of accompaniment. Of course, this setting is scored for SATB, but with only David and Tony Lee for this recording a completely unison voice was the most effective. Hope you enjoy our rendition.
