The Willis Organ from St. Mary The Virgin’s Church of Downe was sampled by the young Samuel Sleath and was turned into a Hauptwerk sample set by Augustine’s Virtual Organs. Although a small disposition, the Willis quality sound is sweet and beautiful. I added just a tiny bit of reverb to my recording as the church’s acoustics are very dry. The sample set was recently updated to increase the pipe width samples (stereo width). Congratulations again to Samuel for sampling this organ—very well done.
