Nicolas de Grigny – Récit de tierce en taille

The Récit de tierce en taille by de Grigny is undoubtedly the most famous Tierce en taille for organ in the French baroque period. de Grigny (1672 – 1703) died young and only left behind a single collection of organ music, plus an Ouverture for harpsichord. I recorded this piece on St. Pons-de-Thomières, Micot Organ (1771) sampled by Sonus Paradisi.
