Soul of my Saviour (ANIMA CHRISTI) with Communion improvisation | James Flores
At Mass yesterday, I was without a cantor or choir so the singing here is from the congregation (under currently covid-19 rules, congregational singing is permitted in NSW places of worship). As the hymn is quite short, I attempted to improvise on the tune and followed it with the hymn once everyone was finished at Communion. If you’ve been following my channel, you’ll see my previous attempts at “improvising”. This aspect of organ playing is a whole new world for me and I hope you enjoy following my journey.
